Informatica Governance Tools - Platform Administrator

Brief Description

Should have experience in managing Informatica Axon, Informatica Data Quality, Enterprise Data catalog, Custom Resources in LDM Admin.
Additional knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter, Hadoop Administration.

Required Skills

Development and configuration of Informatica EDC resources (native and custom), data lineage, custom resources, custom data lineage, relationships, data domains, data domain groups and composite data domains.
Administration and management of Informatica EDC tool, user groups, permissions
Configuration of Data profiling and data lineage
Work with Data Owners, stewards, and various stakeholders to understand EDC requirements, and configure it in the tool
Troubleshooting experience and handling call with Informatica Product team
Knowledge of data governance and data management concepts, approaches, tools in the successful implementation of data strategy. Experience implementing and configuring Informatica Axon. Good to have experience designing Axon workflows and data quality dashboards in Axon.
Experience with administrative, migration and product upgrades in EDC/Axon space; should be experienced with EDC/Axon installation setup
Working on the AXON APIs
Experience in Shell/Python scripting.
Cloud knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot issues related to databases, job failures, software bugs and performance bottlenecks to critical P1/P2 incidents on a Level 3 support basis by interface with DBA, Informatica Global Support and work on problems and drive them to resolutions.
Provide detailed analysis of problems and recommend solutions.
Work with the DG Lead to deliver the Overall Data Governance engagement
Work with the Data Quality Team and the source systems to define the end-to-end data lineage across various systems
Provide support to platform Upgrade and enhancements
Take responsibilities and drive the Admin Projects end to end with minimal support
Take initiatives for the betterment of infrastructure
Think on ideas and act on the same
Ability to Work with the CDO partners on critical projects

Required Qualifications:

Has at least 3-5 years of experience in Data/ Data Governance space
Experience with administrative, migration and product upgrades in EDC space; should be experienced with EDC installation and configuration setup
Experience in admin activities in Linux environment
Aware of DQ integration, & Axon integration
Well versed metadata extraction from wide range of resources
Deep understanding of advanced Data Governance, architecture and quality is essential
Experience in data governance activities - particularly corresponding to data lineage, data catalog, data discovery, metadata management.
Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated track record of success in delivering Master Data Governance
Previous hands-on experience with industry Governance, design, data quality tools, and reporting tool sets.
Previous hands-on knowledge of enterprise data governance tools and data profiling tools such as Informatica Axon, EDC, IDQ
Ability to support working outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or "on-call" support when necessary to solve high profile incidents/problems.
