General Maintenance

WHO WE ARE: We are a high end, residential cleaning company; not a maid service or janitorial crew. Our team members are professionals in their trade and take pride in their quality, efficiency, and experience. Our clients expect a high standard of service because that is what they are paying for. All of our work is in South Orange County and the surrounding Beach Cities, and we clean some of the largest and highest-profile homes in the area.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Brett is the owner and is looking to expand the window cleaning and pressure washing division by hiring and training multiple members for our cleaning company. While having window cleaning experience is preferred, it is not necessary as long as the candidate is a quick learner and willing to work extra hard to perfect their craft. We are looking for leaders who can learn our procedure and constantly improve their skills. We need someone who is punctual and able to communicate with team members and our clients. We need someone who can problem solve and even anticipate problems before they occur. We need respectful individuals who look presentable and can have a good “first impression” on our clients.

WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS: This position requires hard work in a fast-paced environment. The candidates have to be physically capable of working on their feet all day and moving quickly throughout each job. They have to be comfortable with heights and working from a ladder. Because we work on single to three-story residential homes, we require the candidates to be able to carry equipment (buckets, ladders, etc.) up and down staircases while being careful of the customers’ property. They need good attention to detail, good eyesight, and be able to keep our high standard of quality. They have to be fine with working outdoors, getting dirty and sweaty. We are professional window cleaners, and we have to make hard work look easy.

HOW TO SUCCEED IN OUR COMPANY: There are a lot of details that go into this position, so new trainees will need to retain information and learn quickly. They need to practice their trade and improve their squeegee skills on a daily basis. We will teach the appropriate techniques to get started, but it’s up to the trainees to develop into professional window cleaners. If they can show up early, ask questions, and continually improve, then they will find success in our company. We need people who are hungry to prove themselves, and who want to take on more responsibilities.

EMPLOYMENT AND INSURANCE: We provide all the tools, equipment, and company vehicles to get from job to job. We W2 all of our employees and do not sub-contract any work. We provide worker's compensation insurance for everyone, so they are protected in case of any on-site accidents. We also have general liability and auto insurance so our clients are protected from any accidents. These are just some of the perks that separate us from our competition, which shows that we really care for our employees and our clients.

Brett's Home Services is a local cleaning business based in San Juan Capistrano. We've been in business for over 30 years, and have been expanding in new areas of specialized home services. Our main services include window cleaning, pressure washing, tile & grout cleaning, and carpet cleaning. We are quickly growing and approaching our busy holiday season, so we need a new member to join our team. Most of our business is residential work, meaning we drive to customer's homes and clean their windows or carpets. We also have commercial accounts including apartment buildings, restaurants, and schools. All of our employees were born and raised here in South Orange County, and we all enjoy our job. We work really hard and have a fun time doing so.
