Beckett is looking for a Corporate Paralegal to assist attorneys by providing support services in several areas. This is a fast-paced position that will require a solid amount of administrative work. Strong attention to detail is a must. Tasks will include, but are not limited to:

Role Description:
Beckett is looking for a Corporate Paralegal to assist attorneys by providing support services in several areas. This is a fast-paced position that will require a solid amount of administrative work. Strong attention to detail is a must. Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Document preparation and revie.
- Contract management
- Research
- Organizing meetings
- Communication with outside law firms for litigation and other matters.
- Assisting in diligence requests
- Managing Attorney's calendar
- Assist in preparation of board reports or other projects.
- Maintain SmartSheets for legal reviews - ensuring all submissions for review contain correct form of documents prior the attorney review.
- Managing requests from business units.
- Risk Committee minutes
- Other projects as determined by General Counsel
Requirements
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment.
- Understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience as a Corporate Paralegal is required.
- Experience with Contractworks or other contract management system.
- Experience and working knowledge in creating Smartsheets(VERY HELFUL)
- Associates degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
Required Qualities:
- Paralegal certificate
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a corporate environment
