OR Tech/ Medical Assistant
Job Description

This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.
We have an immediate opening for a full-time OR Tech to join our Margate, FL office. The schedule is Monday through Friday, daytime hours with occasional weekend/holiday coverage.
How You'll Contribute:
We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Medical Assistant is responsible for:
- Assist physician with examinations
- Draw blood work per physician order
- Assist in OR area, scrubbing in for IVF cases
- Transport specimens as needed to/from clinical laboratories
- Order supplies and stock cabinets and rooms
- Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ families
- Support and promote excellence in customer service
- Assists all staff with information of area assigned
What You'll Bring:
The skills and education we need are:
- High school diploma
- Minimum two years experience in an area of women's health
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately to all stressful situations
- Professionalism and strong customer service skills is a must
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
