Mechanical Designer/Checker with Security Clearance

• Work in a team of mechanical design technicians utilizing 3-D computer aided design (CAD) tools checking drawings to corporate and government standards based on project requirements. • Develop manufacturing models and drawings meeting ASME Standard formats to support technical data packages. • Interact with design engineers and mechanical engineering lead in direct support of manufacturing facilities to address design optimization. • Drawing checking experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks CAD software and SolidWorks PDM for components and assemblies. Other CAD software and/or PDM experience will be evaluated.
• 5-10 years experience in Mechanical Designer field.
Desired Skills:
• Intimate knowledge of ASME drawing standards and their application.
• Previous experience with hypersonics. • Experience in Creo.
