Maintenance Technician

AIY Properties owns and manages residential apartment communities throughout Northeast Ohio. We are hiring a full-time Make Ready and Maintenance Technician for our senior apartment community in Euclid.

Compensation: COMPETITIVE HOURLY RATE + FREE APARTMENT + MONTHLY BONUS + GAS STIPEND

As the Make Ready Technician your overall responsibility is preparing apartment units for new tenants:

• Minimum 6 months experience.
• Moderate knowledge of electrical, carpentry or plumbing is required.

As the Maintenance Technician your overall responsibility is completing work orders for our current tenants:

• Minimum 1-3 years of prior maintenance experience in multi-family residential community.
• Moderate knowledge of the repair and maintenance of plumbing and electrical systems.

Both positions require:

• A valid Driver's License or Work Privileges for the on-call emergency rotation.
• Operate and own basic hand tools and power tools such as a drill, saw, circular saw, plumbing hand tools, screwdriver set.
• Must be able to perform in this role while twisting, turning, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing and lifting.
• Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position.
