About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer. Enterprise Complaint Program is a company-wide initiative to design and develop an integrated technology solution for handling complaints life-cycle. This candidate will be part of an engineering team with focus on technical solutions. As a team lead candidate will be accountable for multiple projects at any given time, and will be expected to provide technical guidance for a wide variety of systems/solutions. This resource will also interact with offshore team and be responsible for sprint delivery. Candidate will be responsible to build and maintain relationships with EIT project team members - EIT entities involved in projects include Application Developers, Enterprise Architects, DBA, Project Managers, Network, Hardware, Desktop and Operating System Engineers. In addition the position will liaison with business owners, product owners and other projects teams. This resource will also be responsible to provide leadership and guidance to junior developers and be able to peer-review work performed by the team. In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
- 6 + years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles
- 6+ years of Java experience
- 5+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
- 3+ years of experience in microservices development
- 2+ years of Karate/TDD/Cucumber development
- 2+ years of experience in building data pipelines using Apache spark/flink
- 2+ years of Dev ops experience in using tools
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology business systems analysis
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions
- Experience working with distributed teams
- Ability to commute to office
