Responsibilities

  • Manage and process incoming claims at the direction of the Claims Management Division Head as necessary
  • Field phone calls, collect appropriate information to either answer the inquiry or dispatch it to the appropriate person
  • Understand the different programs in which we participate and continue education to stay up to date on any changes
  • Daily follow-up of outstanding contracts/deposits to determine if A. Molly will be doing the job
  • Manage our contact database to ensure that all information is accurate and complete
  • Create paper folders with all necessary job information
  • Import/create job into job management software at the direction of the Claims Management Division Head as necessary
  • Complete introduction calls for all new claims to determine extent of damage, inform customers of the claims process, and determine status of the claim
  • Assign new files to project managers with assistance of Reconstruction Department Head
  • Complete in-progress calls to check on progress of repairs and report information back to Project Manager, Reconstruction Department Head, Production Manager, and Owners
  • Monitor the different programs to ensure we are within guidelines and following protocol
  • Update the project management software
  • Assist Project Managers with keeping files up to date and ensuring all claims are up to date
