Job Summary/Description:
The best of both worlds! KFYR TV is seeking someone to be the main MMJ on the weekends and also help out our sports department when needed. The ideal person will work well independently. Knowledge of western North Dakota preferred but not required. General assignment reporter duties. Phone, zoom, Microsoft Word, videography, basic journalism skills required.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Report
* Write
* Edit
* Social media
Qualifications/Requirements:
* BS in Communications/Broadcast Journalism or equivalent preferred but not necessary
* Work under pressure
* Familiarity with all distribution platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Internet etc.
* Motor Vehicle Records check are required
