Manager, Sales Operations & Financial Analysis

POSITION PURPOSE

This position supports the PDI Healthcare Sales and Marketing organizations in providing analytics that aid in critical business decisions and daily operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Supervise Associate Pricing Analyst and Financial Analyst

  • Mentor other team members to: a) increase overall team proficiency in their application and use of systems and b) ensure optimal and efficient achievement of department objectives

  • Provide recommendations and mentoring on various statistical modeling techniques to apply within analytical projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment and synergies around key business priorities and market landscapes to support better and more informed business decisions.

  • Provide recommendation on data and systems automation

  • Work closely with GPOs on payment and reporting of members

  • Provide reporting solutions for GPOs tier analysis

  • Support to sales related functions by providing business reviews and recommendations to ensure we are provide our end user customers the support needed to growth base business

  • Provide systems training to incoming system users

  • Ad-hoc Reports

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

  • Ensures that reports to business units are accurate and on time

  • Provide support and guidance to direct report

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • BA/BS in Business, Accounting, or Finance required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 7+ years of experience

  • Healthcare, GPOs, or Medical Surgical Distributor background. Hospital experience a plus

  • 2 + years of management experience

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Able to work independently

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail
