Job Location: Hershey, PA – hybrid work from office/home Job Summary: Strategic sourcing & procurement leadership position managing spending to support Better-For-You (BFY) & ONE Brands $400M+ annual sales. This position is required to provide global support of raw materials & packaging supply in support of Mainstream BFY (including Zero Sugar, Organic, Plant Based), BarkThins/Brookside, Lily’s, ONE Brands, FULFIL, and BFY Grocery in the US & Canada. This role will maintain a dotted line relationship to Dir, BFY CMG & ONE Brands Supply Chain. Role Responsibilities: Supplier Integration & Optimization Lead, collaborate, and partner with the business to streamline legacy supplier relationships from past M&A Integrate suppliers into the Hershey business models while consolidating redundant partnerships and optimize end-to-end sourcing Supply and Reliability Lead the overall business relationship with BFY & ONE Brands suppliers Negotiate, manage, monitor and partner with cross-functionals in executing Master Supply Agreements, including stakeholder communication & update about Agreements related questions Lead, collaborate and partner with cross functional teams to manage, monitor and execute BFY & ONE Brands strategy to ensure supply and quality Establishing and securing Annual Plan volume and supporting requirements at network production sites along with execution plans and coordination allocations of commodities, packaging etc Lead, facilitate, and or contribute at regular business reviews including but not limited to: Weekly S&OP Ops/Engineering/CAPEX review Monthly performance review (include QA, Finance, Commodities); Monthly forecasting meeting etc Quarterly Innovation Committee review Proactively address performance issues and questions timely including partnership with QRC on quality issues etc Partner with legal including but not limited to IP, contract, product compliance Partner with cross funtionals in support of delivering cost improvement opportunities and margin enhancement initiatives. Support Future Growth • Lead and partner to develop & execute sourcing solutions, support the manufacture of New and Changing Products Launches o Create, execute, and award RFP’s o Partner with OBD and other cross-functional teams to support product launches at the best cost to Hershey Energize the Strategic Relationship • Lead efforts to establish, improve and strengthen strategic relationship o Quarterly, or semi – Steerco meetings and follow-ups o Strategic Supplier Relationship Management including Strategic partnership to explore, identify and establish short-term & long-term sourcing strategy with suppliers Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related area required; MBA preferred. Minimum 7-10 years progressive business & operations experience. Action oriented, self-motivator individual who can lead a team, work collaboratively, with influencing skills Internal & External stakeholder management Excellent negotiation Strong attention to detail Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline-oriented environment.
