Pipe Welder

• Pipe or plate welding projects to fabricate and install steel pipes and fittings, installation of high-pressure steel gas pipes
• Welds in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
• Uses processes such as gas metal arc, shielded metal arc, and submerged arc welding
• Interpret drawings and specifications, and perform essential duties and requirements of A.S.M.E. F/W-B, A.S.M.E. F/W-C, and A.S.M.E. F/W-D, API 1104
• Operates and uses equipment and tools including acetylene equipment, arc welders, abrasive cutting wheels, drills, pipe threads, and forklifts

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must be able to pass a 6G position in either, or a combination of S.M.A.W., S.A.W., G.M.A.W., or, open root, with 705-6 filler metal
• One to two years’ experience in high volume manufacturing preferred

• 5am – 3:30pm, Monday – Thursday

• $24-26.50/hr DOE
