ENERGY AND WATER POLICY ANALYST

Arlington, VA / Hybrid Minimum Clearance Required: None (Secret Preferred) Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Secret and DoD Common Access Card Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) is seeking a policy analyst to assist a senior Department of the Air Force client with a focus on climate, energy, and water issues. A successful candidate will enjoy working in a small team environment to identify and implement enhancements to installation energy and water resilience, and enjoy developing and following programs, projects, and initiatives from concept through implementation. Some travel may be required with this position. Key Responsibilities:
• Support ongoing energy/water assurance efforts, with the objective of translating those processes and lessons learned into a combined energy and water assurance framework
• Apply technical knowledge to the development and management of energy projects and pilot programs
• Facilitate policy and strategy development focused on improving installation energy resilience
• Develop tools, methods, and procedures to ensure appropriate capabilities providing energy resilience to Air Force missions
• Provide detailed updates to leadership and stakeholders by participating in meetings/forums and coordinating, consolidating, developing, and delivering and or presenting associated meeting materials
• Build strong client relationships Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, science, management, or related discipline with a minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience
• Willingness and ability to set priorities and deliver under tight deadlines in a heavy workload setting
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to conduct research, apply principles, concepts, and methodologies to difficult and/or varied assignments
• Ability to work in teams, and establish and maintain cross-functional and working relationships
• Provide original and creative input to meet objectives and new assignments
• Capability to independently initiate and manage tasks, with a high degree of detail and process orientation
• Ability to work with and understand technical concepts, while also being able to communicate them to a broad audience
• Strong knowledge of M.S. Office suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in engineering, science, management, or related discipline
• Experience in government consulting or supporting government organizations
• Proven experience in facility energy and water use management with a focus on ESPC, UESC, utility service, renewable and process energy program management, and energy and water use planning
• Familiarity with Air Force/DoD energy and water resilience requirements, processes, and tools
• Knowledge of Air Force structure and operations
• Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, problem-solving, and client service skills Why CTC?
