Business Analyst – Cashless Payment Operations

Description:

Direct Hire. 100% Remote.


Responsibilities:


  • Liaise with cross-functional departments, external payment service vendors, and customers to meet business requirements, sustain operations, and ensure successful delivery of program
  • Obtain a solid understanding of products within the Cashless Solution, services, and 3rd party integration workflows; translate them to functional workflows
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements for existing and new systems to improve SLAs and provide KPIs, analytics, and related reporting
  • Facilitate the onboarding and training of customers utilizing a standardized process
  • Create, improve, maintain, and document delivery workflows and related processes to improve program delivery performance, decrease delivery costs and time, improve overall quality results, customer satisfaction, and confidence
  • Analyze existing operating policies and procedures and provide recommendations
  • Understand and document functional and technical specification changes/updates for new and existing integrations
  • Work with new and existing 3rd party payment providers to analyze new payment methods or features and provide management with assessment on impact to operations and related costs
  • Analyze multiple sources of data and manually compile it into a digestible and actionable format
  • Ensure new/future product and 3rd party requirements are accurately analyzed, documented, developed, and implemented
  • Support user acceptance test cycle for payment solution deployments
  • Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions
  • Other duties as required


Skills & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar role
  • Fintech experience
  • Ability to analyze and document the payment system
  • Ability to speak to engineers and translate information to the business side
  • Strong technical and business acumen
  • Understanding of systems, networks, and other technology
  • Highly analytical thinker, proactive problem solver, expected to present problems and solutions simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to identify and articulate results of analysis in easy-to-understand terms
  • Organized, independent, and proactive
  • Strong interpersonal skills
