We are looking for a hardworking and experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing company in Carlsbad. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of machine operator experience, shipping and receiving and inventory control knowledge and experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Safe operation of assigned equipment
• Placing raw and packaging material in quarantine as needed per GMP and SOP standards.
• Clear jams and keep the line running at standard speed.
• Properly labeling and tagging all items as needed.
• Picking of components needed prior to start of production process.
• Issuing of components needed for production and verification of material, lot #’s and quantity used.
• Records return to stock amounts of materials.
• Reconciliation of customer packaging components.
• Verification of bottle counts after production is complete and prior to shipping to customer.
• Inspect in-process and finished goods for proper weights, labeling, packaging, pallet configuration. Correct and/or report defects.
• Conducts inbound and outbound inspections.
• Conducts shipping of FG’s to customers.
• Performs regular inventory counts.
• Ensures any job-related logs are maintained and properly documented.
• Complies with safety/OSHA Compliance, Hazardous Material/HACCP/MSDS, sanitation, and facility requirements.
• Follows cleanroom procedures (GMP).
• Cleaning, sanitizing and organizing of workspace and warehouse.
• Uses learnings to implement improvements that minimize errors.
• Demonstrates professional, respectful, and collegial behavior.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience
• 2+ years of Machine Operator experience
• Experience and/or licensed forklift operator
• Proficiency in MS Office such as Excel and Word
• Experience in SOPs, and GMPs
• Experience with FIFO system
• Must have prior experience participating and completing audits both internal and external.
• Experience with BarTender and/or another labeling system a plus
• Experience in FDA-regulated facility a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
