Catering Chef

Summary

Green Valley Marketplace is currently seeking an experienced, full-time Catering Chef to join our Elkridge location, located at 7280 Montgomery Road, Elkridge, MD 21075.

Essential Responsibilities

• Planning and directing food preparation for daily catering as well as special events.
• Helps maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen cleaning up spills and other potential hazards immediately.
• Assisting in ordering recipe ingredients including meats, fresh fruits, produce and other supplies.
• Making sure all food is thoroughly cooked for safety reasons and that it represents our high level of cooking every time.
• Stay up to date on current food trends, flavors, and presentations.
• Assists in other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications

• 1-2 years of cooking and catering experience required.
• Ability to operate all food preparation machines and equipment.

Compensation:

$18-$20 per hour
