HVAC Specialist - Day Shift

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a HVAC Specialist to join our Facilities team in LaVergne, TN (Greater Nashville Area). The HVAC Specialist works under general direction, checks, repairs, and maintains HVAC systems in proper working condition on the LaVergne Ingram Content campus. They will provide preventative maintenance and repairs to units; as well as assist the HVAC Supervisor with maintenance schedules to reduce down time on units in service.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years combined experience in commercial/industrial and residential HVAC experience


Preferred Skills:

  • Technical School or Associates Degree in HVAC
  • Refrigerant certifications


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing preventative maintenance schedules
  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment on the Lavergne Ingram Content campus.
  • Troubleshoot heat and air problems and follows up making necessary repairs to units, as necessary.
  • Work with contractors, if necessary, to keep equipment operational.
  • Change belts, motors, valves, fluids, gases, compressors, or other parts.
  • Analyze problems with units and makes necessary repairs as economically as possible.
  • Maintain proper gauges and test equipment to service the HVAC units on campus.
  • Maintain and inventory necessary spare parts to keep units operational year round and works on other facilities-related projects as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Facilities HVAC Supervisor and/or the Director, Corporate Operating Services.


Essential Physical Demands

  • Ability to deal with heat and cold on a regular basis
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
