Job Descriptions:

• The Distribution Specialist functions under the direction of the Manager and Assistant Manager of Distribution and the Warehouse Leadership team. Responsible for the functions associated with the supply chain cycle of facilities within the WellStar System. Inclusive, but not limited to responsibilities with receiving, warehousing, distribution, and supply replenishment process and delivery. Resolves and expedites receipt discrepancies and unacceptable commodities. Keys disbursement provides customer service and proofs and tracks daily inventory discrepancies.

• The Inventory Specialist functions under the direction of the Resource Management Supply Supervisor and manager. Responsible for daily supply assessment and replenishment of supplies for nursing and procedural units. Responsible for the storage and distribution of supplies for a perpetual inventory.

Required Minimum Education

• High school graduate or GED

Required Minimum Experience for Distribution Specialist:

• 1 year of experience preferred in warehousing/distribution environment.

Required Minimum Experience for Inventory Specialist:

• Six months experience in supply inventory and replenishment
• One year experience in customer service field
• One year experience in Health Care environment

Required Minimum Skills

• Experience preferred in automated warehousing, receiving, and inventory environment. Have basic personal computer skills.
• Must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and display positive attitude.
