Maintenance Technician

We are looking to add an experienced Maintenance Technician to our team in Dayton, Ohio. We are a 3-shift manufacturing facility, and this position may be on any shift.
The individual in this role will:
- Maximize productive time of equipment. Improve the reliability and repeatability of production systems. Provide support to production associates as they assume greater responsibility for the maintenance of their own equipment. Coordinate and assist with the equipment installation and start-up.
- Complete periodical and incidental machine maintenance in an accurate and timely manner. Perform preventative maintenance as outlined on preventative maintenance schedules of equipment manufacturer's recommendations.
- Contribute to a safe, engaged and inclusive work culture by complying with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment, and performing 5S duties.
- Plan and implement corrective action in conjunction with management direction. Comply with all safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain building, equipment, and grounds in a clean and orderly manner.
- Assist in the identification and purchase of maintenance supplies and equipment parts as required or directed.
The successful candidate will posses:
- Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance or other related degree program or equivalent experience in applicable area is acceptable.
- Must have 2-5 years maintenance experience
- 2 years' experience with PLC's
- 5 years' experience with 480 electric
- Must be proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, electronic, fluid power, mechanical and plumbing systems.
- Familiar with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley CNC Controls needed
- Should be familiar with applicable regulatory requirements outlined by OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NEC and other state/local organizations.
- Machining and welding capabilities required
- Computer literature, i.e., Microsoft-Office applications
