Job ID: 290 Two Six Technologies is looking to hire an Applications Integration Engineer to help develop and maintain client tools, integrations, and documentation for third parties looking to integrate with our SIGMA sensor platform. The successful candidate will have hands-on software development experience with mobile applications (Android and/or iOS) and/or development of redistributable cross-platform applications, and a passion for delivering effective and easy-to-use tools. We are seeking candidates who have demonstrated initiative and ability to work with a broad variety of technologies, and who have a practical understanding of developing solutions for the real world. Members of this team are highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work well independently as well as within a team. Responsibilities Include: * Actively participating in the development, test, and documentation of tools and applications used to integrate systems with the SIGMA platform. * Drafting and implementing improvements to externally facing developer documentation * Support operational test events and field operations as necessary * Join a small, highly-focused team that values initiative and creative spirit * Become intimately familiar with all aspects of what goes on inside of today's smartphones, including the hardware, kernel, drivers, firmware, framework, and apps Minimum Qualifications: * A four-year degree in CS, EE, or Mathematics, or related on the job experience * Software development experience, preferably with experience building complex mobile applications that leverage onboard sensors and device hardware * Proficiency in Python or Java programming languages * Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: * Experience building Android or iOS applications, especially those that interface with hardware or external sensors * Experience building redistributable cross-platform applications for use by developers and other technical consumers * Experience with wireless (NFC/Bluetooth/802.11/LTE) protocols and hardware * Experience developing or modifying Internet-of-Things (IOT) devices * Experience designing and documenting network APIs using HTTP, binary and other protocols * Experience developing security solutions and products Clearance Requirements: * Eligibility for Security clearance #LI-JS1 #LI-Onsite Two Six Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices based on race (including traits historically associated with race, such as hair texture, hair type and protective hair styles (e.g., braids, twists, locs and twists)), color, religion, national origin, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions and lactation), sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age (40 and over), marital status, disability, genetic information, and protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
