Summary of Role:

GlobalFoundries is looking for a Technician for the Mechanical Rebuild area.

This role requires strong mechanical and technical ability. Technician must be able to rebuild assemblies to the component level, following standard work procedures and follow all quality controls.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner in support of all Environmental, Health, Safety and Security requirements and programs
• Able to wear all required protective clothing and equipment
• Willing to work with semi-conductor process chemicals
• Ability to perform work to defined specifications
• Perform preventive maintenance on area equipment
• Complete all required reporting and documentation
• Able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shift
• Strong team member, able to work well with a global team

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

• Education – High School Diploma or GED
• Experience – 2 years of mechanical or electrical experience
• Language Fluency –Fluency in English Language - Written & Verbal
• Physical Capacity Demands - 12-hour Alternate Work Schedule (Nights or Days)
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Able to prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with computer systems and software applications such as Microsoft Office
