Manager – Visual MerchandisingDisney (Parks, Experiences, and Products)Kissimmee, FL You will report to the Director of Visual MerchandisingYou Will:Leader of multiple Merchandise Presentation Area ManagersStrategize with key partners (Location Strategy, Site GMs, Field Teams) to determine approach to product presentations; responsible for ensuring product strategies are implemented across multi-site locationsCollaborate with internal partners to ensure seamless approach is taken to support the Guest experience, linking merchandise presentation and retail creative across all locationsLead teams at multiple sites, in the creation and implementation of creative Merchandise Presentation concepts and techniques that promote an exciting shopping environment for Guests, and drives revenueCommunicate effectively, ensure timely, consistent communication with all lines of businessPlan strategically multiple projects simultaneously, anticipating obstacles, determining solutions ensuring deadlines are metUtilize market trend research, propose new merchandise business ideas that enhance the Guest experience and provide incremental revenue opportunitiesInspire creativity, while provide challenging opportunities, for team members to grow and develop within roleRecruit, train, and develop Merchandise Presentation Area Managers to deliver compelling, revenue driving, product presentations at multiple-site locationsAttend tradeshows to source new vendors and innovative technologies and research outside marketsWork closely with vendors on projects, new store installations, and visual collateral developmentSteward budgets, ensuring optimal use of available funds maintaining timely & accurate reportingYou Have:Experience and in-depth knowledge of Visual Merchandising, retail product presentation, and display window design and stylizingSavvy within the Visual Merchandising industry trends, vendors, materials and design elementsDemonstrate consistent and high-quality work ethicHave project management and organizational skills; must be proficient in time management with a focus on managing multiple tasks, assigning priorities, and meeting or exceeding deadlinesProven ability to build working relationships, influence all levels by being knowledgeable and credibleExhibit personal and professional excellence with the ability to exercise good judgment and handle confidential, sensitive informationExperience with full Adobe Suite proficiency and Windows including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookMinimum five years of Retail and Merchandising experienceOur Benefits: Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
