Salary: $30 - $40 per hour

A bit about us:

We're hiring Audio/Visual (A/V) Technicians! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the support of the projects team or installation department in the implementation and support of integrated low voltage systems and sub-systems. Technicians will perform rack wiring, equipment configuration and programming, commissioning, testing and end-user training for audio/visual systems.

Successful candidates will enjoy working in a challenging and progressive environment, in which "turn-key" integrated systems are designed, deployed, and commissioned. In this role, you will gain professional and technical experience working in a cross-functional team environment responsible for the installation of audio/visual and other technology solutions into public and private sector commercial buildings. All necessary training, tools and equipment will be provided, including a company vehicle. Full COVID-19 vaccination required.

Job Details

Work Experience

  • 2-4 years’ experience with the installation & commissioning of Audio / Visual Systems.
  • Experience with Crestron, Extron, Biamp and Shure equipment.



Education

High School Diploma; College coursework or degree preferred.


Licenses and/or Certifications

  • Massachusetts Class D and/or Rhode Island TST License preferred.
  • InfoComm CTS Certifications or Training preferred.
  • Crestron Programming Training and Experience preferred.
  • Crestron Digital Media Certified Designer or Engineer [DMC-D or DMC-D] preferred.
  • Manufacturer Certification Training on equipment noted in experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.



Skills

  • Familiar with audio processing, video projectors, wireless microphone, paging and video display & switching equipment.
  • Familiar with Crestron, Extron, Biamp and Shure equipment. Programming capabilities and experience is preferred.
  • Proficient with computers and basic Microsoft Windows applications.
  • Must be able to demonstrate persistence, tactfulness and responsibility; maintain silence regarding confidential information; make decisions based on personal judgment and verifiable criteria; deal effectively with people in actual job duties beyond giving and receiving instructions; perceive details in a variety of written materials; communicate effectively; understand and apply proper terminology and methods; reason clearly and logically; work with numbers; read and interpret reports; communicate well.
  • Must be self-motivated and must work well with others in a team environment.
  • Must possess strong written and oral communications skills. Must be able to provide daily project status updates and communication to the Project Management Team.
  • Able to produce accurate documentation of the system commissioning and testing results.
  • Able to participate in a service on-call rotation.
