Senior Firmware Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you overview the firmware engineers and technicians on projects
• Assists in software testing of products
• Assist in the creation of architecture, security, firmware, software requirements, objectives, and modules for designs
• Helps training on new designs and software operations
• Create and maintain firmware for products
• Write manuals and assist the Technical Writer
• Works along with Project leaders and Design Engineers on products
• Creates quotes for engineering efforts or proposals

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BSCE, BSEE in computer engineering or a related field and 6+ years as a Firmware Engineer
• Must have experience with C and C++ programming
• Must have Firmware experience
• Proficient in the Linux operating system, multithreaded execution system, electrical test equipment, micro controller systems, XML and JSON schema, or svn and Git tools
• Working knowledge with 3rd party code integration
• Able to travel in support of training, projects, or designs
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications
