The Sr. Manager of Provider Engagement will develop and execute growth strategies to increase utilization of key Optum solutions within targeted healthcare systems. The Senior Manager will determine the unmet needs and barriers to adoption for these key solutions. They will lead education strategies such as webinars, in-person training sessions, and roundtables. The Senior Manager will be responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders throughout the health system. Finally, the Senior Manager will partner across the enterprise to integrate into a holistic strategy and deliver value to the health care system as a unified team.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Create, build and nurture relationships and partnerships with prioritized prescribers and health system to increase utilization of OptumRx solutions
- Communicate the benefits of the OptumRx solutions, such as Prescriber time savings and patient cost savings
- Utilize critical and analytical skills to showcase value specific to the health system. Utilize analytics skills and the ability to think outside the box to innovate with health system partner
- Develop a meeting cadence health system leaders and prescribers to review enhancements, new capabilities and reports that show the benefits of OptumRx solutions and highlight additional opportunities
- Develop an on-going cadence to address the administrative needs of our prescriber partners
- Develop a cohort of Optum teams who are responsible for prescriber and health system outreach to share best practices and operate as a team-of-teams
- Perform educational outreach for top prescribers and health care systems including trainings, webinars and providing educational materials
- Work in tandem with centralized analytics partners, across teams responsible for prescriber and health system relationships to share best practices and operate as a team-of-teams
- Capability to be a quick learner having a solid work ethic who is proactive and have the ability to work independently and with a team, contributing to the success of the team and ultimately the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Required qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in marketing or sales
- Lead coordinated outreach to prescribers and health care systems
- Preforming data analysis and presenting findings to inform and educate stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to travel 25%-50%, as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of cross-functional experience working in a matrixed organization
- Experience with working and building partnerships with prescribers and health care systems
- Network management or physician business management background and skillset
- Hosting educational meetings, training sessions, and webinars to a variety of stakeholders

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
