The Office Manager II position plays an integral role within the WellStar Health System as they are a leader that integrates patient experience, operational effectiveness, cultural integration, and system outcomes. As a member of the WellStar Medical Group, the OM II is directly responsible for the overall office operations including directing daily clinical and business functions. The OM II will plan, supervise, and coordinate day-to-day operations of a WellStar Medical Group practice. OM II is also responsible for maintaining compliance with all regulatory agencies associated with WellStar Health System and WellStar Medical Group. Additionally, the OM II will be responsible for practice specific regulations as it applies to their specialty.

The position will maintain clinical quality, financial viability, human resources, patient experience, staff and provider engagement. In collaboration with associated departments, the OM II maintains proficiency in business operations and resolves operational issues and problems.

Required Minimum Education:

Associates degree from an accredited college or university in business or related field of study required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Minimum Experience:

2-3 years of healthcare management/supervisory experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting or hospital operational setting required.
