Assistant Apartment Maintenance Manager

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am to 6pm (weekends on call) | Salary: $17 to $21 an hour
Be a part of one of the area’s top residential property management firms utilizing your previous experience in the maintenance of apartment complexes. This class A multifamily apartment complex with beautiful surroundings needs your HVAC experience to ensure residents are well taken care of in their own homes and their community. Only those with the same level of service and commitment to their residents should apply. Position offers weekday shifts and rotating on-call schedule for the weekends.
Assistant Maintenance Manager’s Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the physical condition of the rental units prior to occupancy to ensure they are make-ready
  • Handle emergency calls as necessary
  • General upkeep of the property interiors and exteriors
  • Provide support and rotate emergency calls with Lead Maintenance Technician
  • Repair major appliances/HVAC
  • Report all safety/liability issues to the Property Manager
Assistant Maintenance Manager’s Qualifications
  • 2 years of maintenance experience working in the apartment community industry is REQUIRED
  • HVAC training and license REQUIRED
  • Must have experience with Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance Repair, Pools, and General Maintenance
  • Assist with completing service requests, make readies and upgrading apartments
  • Assist with various projects as assigned by Lead Maintenance Technician
  • Must be willing to be on call per schedule and alternate schedule
  • Must provide own tools and have reliable transportation
  • Property employees are required to comply with the company uniform policy. A copy of the uniform policy is provided on the first day of company employment.
  • Company is a drug-free workplace and therefore you must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen prior to your first day
  • Must live within 30 minutes of the work location
