Lockwood Distilling Company is a family-owned neighborhood distillery, tasting room and restaurant. We serve Southern style, chef-crafted food in our scratch kitchen. We have our own spirits which include vodka, gin, bourbon, rye, rum and more! Company culture is very important to us as we enjoy spending time with our work family! We are seeking an entry level sales person to help us grow our business outside of our walls. Most customers will be bars, restaurants, and liquor stores with some opportunities to participate in events.

Responsibilities:

• Follow established procedures and guidelines to promote and sell the organization's products within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to meet sales targets.

• Pursue sales leads, personally visit existing and new customers, assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services, prepare price quotes, delivery dates and service obligations to meet established revenue targets.

• Develop sales skills and knowledge of the organization’s products, services, and customers by working closely with a more experienced sales representative.

• May troubleshoot and handle customer related inquiries.

• Job duties include working nights and weekends on promotional activities and other account activities.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a passion for the Alcoholic Beverage Industry.

• Professional with a positive attitude, great organizational skills, ability to thrive in a highly competitive environment and tolerant of frequent dad jokes.

• Ability to establish working relationships with accounts in the territory as well as the determination to aggressively grow and expand territory while having or pretending to have fun.

• Requires a current, valid state driver’s license, ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements as defined by the Company and Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state and rank in the top 10 high scores on Ms Pacman.

• The employee must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and not own a pair of rollerblades (jk we all have rollerblades).
