Responsibilities of the Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist include:

Utilize your knowledge of EH&S standards and regulation to develop systems that reflect management’s commitment to maintaining world-class safety and environmental standards

Ensure company policies and procedures comply with all local, state, and federal laws while implementing new systems as regulations evolve.

Develop and implement training programs to reduce safety-related incidents

Conduct investigations into work-related industries and prepare appropriate reports

Evaluate and monitor environmental concerns such as hazardous waste, air permitting, and wastewater removal

Requirements of the Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist include:

BS in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering or similar technical field

Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing setting

Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other safety and environmental regulations

Experience with behavioral-based safety, accident investigations, operator training, and worker's compensation
