IT Security Engineer - $120k - Hybrid WFH

This company is unable to sponsor, cannot transfer sponsorship, nor work C2C at this time. This is a W2 only opportunity. They do not offer relocation.

A local Columbus, OH organization is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer for a direct hire/permanent placement role. This person will bring experience with security management, cyber training, and cyber solutions as this person will both be implementing and monitoring the security practices at this organization.

This candidate must be local to Columbus, Ohio and willing to come onsite in Grove City 3 days a week. Any candidates outside of Columbus will not be considered. Salary is flexible but targeting $120,000.

This candidate will be:

- Identifying system security requirements and creating plans for resolving/designing the security architecture.
- Monitor the performance of the network and implement security plans to proactively address concerns.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain all security software and hardware.
- Educate and train staff on security best practices.

The right candidate must have:

• 8+ years experience in network infrastructure.
• 8+ years experience in cyber security engineering.
• Expert-level knowledge in administering and securing Microsoft Office Suite.
• 8+ years of experience implementing and monitoring networks. Must have hands-on experience with this.
• Professional experience with running full operation of tools and techniques used in security engineering.
• 8+ years of experience with Incident Response.
• 8+ years of experience directly handling cyberattacks and remediation.
• A CCNA, CISSP, or CCSP certification
