This individual will join a highly collaborative, agile, creative, and growth-oriented Life Sciences Marketing team. This position reports to the Director, Product Marketing within the Optum Life Sciences business, which is part of Optum Insight. The role is responsible for developing market and customer insights as well as internal and external communication materials to support new product launches as well as go-to-market materials for the existing portfolio.
This role will also support efforts to nurture and expand executive relationships with high-priority growth accounts by framing agendas and building out the materials to support critical client workshops and multi-client roundtable discussions. These activities will ultimately deliver relevant, meaningful differentiation and spark insight-centered commercial conversations that create brand loyalty and drive sales growth.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of differentiated product and portfolio/BU value messaging
- Support selling and client relationship-building efforts through ongoing and timely communications and delivery of evolving product positioning, updated sales tools, market/competitive analyses, and interactive meeting materials
- Produce insight-centered, on-message content (blogs, infographics, videos, case studies, slideware) that elevates our experts’ profiles, enables meaningful customer conversations, and supports commercial activities
- Enhance relationship-building efforts with top strategic accounts (Top 10-20) with slideware, insight-driven storylines, and relevant materials to guide executive exchange meetings, interactive client onsite workshops, and multi-client executive roundtable discussions
- Support product launches by partnering with Product Management leads on go-to-market plans, market testing activities, and essential collateral
- Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and keep them informed about campaign plans, results, and status of key initiatives
- Support competitive and industry research and understand market landscape

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years professional experience
- 2+ years of B2B or health care marketing, health care strategy/commercial ops, PR, or qualitative research experience
- Prior experience synthesizing information and ideas from a range of primary and secondary sources
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Advanced level of proficiency with MS Office Products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology medical device, or health tech industries
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to execute on multiple projects and effectively establish priorities
- Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900.
