Summary:
Do you consider yourself to be a hunter? If so, this Outside Sales Representative role could be a great match! Our client located in Folcroft, PA is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to secure new accounts and manage large accounts to maximize growth and retention. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of B2B sales experience; bonus points for manufacturing or industrial sales experience. This full-time opportunity will operate Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Pay is $63,000 per year plus incentives for the opportunity to earn $70,000 or more. Training and company van provided.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities with the assigned accounts and new accounts within the territory
  • Generate appointments through warm calls, phone work, referrals, and in person
  • Execute a business development plan under the direction of a Regional Sales Manager
  • Manage assigned accounts, working closely with Leadership, Route Service and Sales Representatives
  • Establish and maintain a schedule for contacts with accounts to perform on-site service audits and sales opportunity reviews
  • Improve high, wide and deep standing in accounts, through visitations, reasonable entertainment and other means
  • Document communication to customers, prospects and within service team
  • Be personally involved in identification of service breakdowns or customer dissatisfaction and assist with the development and implementation of corrective actions/communication taken to rectify the situation
  • Provide feedback to appropriate managers on the performance of Route Service and Sales Representatives and District Managers
  • Renew Service Agreements on a timely basis
  • Pursue sizable direct sales opportunities
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Business-related field
  • 3 years of experience in outside sales
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing sales preferred
  • Experience in the application of sales, service and marketing concepts in a business-to-business sales environment with product specific knowledge preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-versed in customer relations and possess solid business and organizational skills
  • Be knowledgeable and skilled in presentations
  • Willingness to complete a 7-year background check and a driving record check
