Job Description

EMSL Analytical, one of the largest environmental testing laboratories in the United States, is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Worker III for its Headquarters in Cinnaminson, NJ.

This position requires someone who is dependable and reliable. The ideal candidate would be someone that is flexible, can manage time well, and is handy with general maintenance duties. Candidate will be working in our main Headquarters located in Southern New Jersey, but will be required to travel to any of our laboratories and properties located throughout North America.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Framing & construction of interior walls using metal studs.
Installing sheet-rock, applying compound and painting new and existing walls.
Framing doorways and window openings as needed.
Hang drop ceilings using metal ceiling track and installation of ceiling tiles.
Ability to paint interior and exterior spaces as required.
Remove & Install flooring including ceramic, vinyl, carpet tile and cove base.
Basic knowledge of cabinetry and counter top installation.
General maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment, to include changing air filters, fan belts and cleaning coils.
Stripping and waxing existing tile floors.
Travel to various locations from time to time to remove and or install equipment and furniture as directed.
Landscaping of local properties as needed including shoveling snow and trash removal.
Ability to work on time sensitive projects as a member of a team “flipping” rental spaces to accommodate tenants move in dates. This would typically include carpet removal and replacement, priming & painting walls, replacing drop ceiling tiles, repair and replace broken electrical outlets and light switches. Various minor plumbing repairs on toilets, sinks, faucets and hot water heaters. Light electrical fixture maintenance to include ballast and bulb replacement. Cleaning of plate glass windows and wipe downs of all interior fixtures and exterior façade surfaces.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Five or more years of construction related experience.
General worker mechanically inclined, good with hands
Good attitude and personable.
MUST have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Some forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
Must be able to travel to local and branch laboratory locations; will be travelling less than 10% of the time.
Candidate might, at times, be required to fly by airplane and stay for overnight stays or up to a week at a time to complete projects at company laboratory locations.
Occasional lodging required based on the business need.
Must have own hand tools.
Must be able to perform basic computer keyboarding and mouse skills as needed for time keeping and other electronic data base communications. (Email etc.).
Must be able to multi-task.
Must be able to lift minimum of 35 pounds.
Must be able to work extra hours and weekends if needed.

Available Shifts:
Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
