Due to our continued growth, we are hiring for a Senior Manager of Email Marketing & Production for MDLinx.

We are well-established in our market with a loyal following, high quality offerings, and over 15 years of experience and history in the digital space. We are currently hiring for a Data Analyst for our physician platform who will bring functional expertise in analytics and reporting to empower our business teams (marketing, editorial product and sales) with deeper insights into current product performance and ultimately help them make better business decisions.
Job Description
- Flex your creative thinking to develop and run targeted campaigns that drive growth and engagement within defined HCP active and lapsed segments.
- Develop and manage engagement programs focused on the user journeys across multiple personas, including onboarding, activation, and adoption.
- Collaborate with the data team to define and implement reporting to understand customer behavior and create strategies based on results to drive acquisition, retention, and re-engagement.
- Partner closely with teams across the business to build a best-in-class customer lifecycle strategy.
- Provide guidance on HCP email industry intelligence, competitive insights, and B2B strategies
- Develop and monitor the reader journey, including barriers and drivers of engagement
- Conduct A/B and multi-variate email tests, and track, analyze, and optimize the performance of campaigns, and socialize results with the team and MDLinx leadership.
- Monitor campaigns results to improve key metrics including email engagement and acquisitions.
- Proactively identify and report on learnings/findings and develop actionable and contextually relevant insights to key stakeholders across the business.
- Serve as the team’s email marketing expert; and work consultatively with key stakeholders to provide guidance and best practices while adhering to channel and brand standards.
- Own, manage and strategically direct all email vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new email product development and campaign execution.
- Create and document assets, tracking codes, tagging, UTMs, URLs and other elements required for campaign execution and reporting.
- Ad hoc projects as requested by management
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or another related field
- Minimum of 8-10 years of B2B email marketing experience
- Hands-on experience with email production, platform migration and list hygiene
- Clear understanding of email deliverability, sender reputation, and email best practices
- Strong project management skills; able to manage concurrent email campaigns with tight deadlines.
- A love for testing and using data to optimize email campaign performance; you’re familiar with reporting tools such as Tableau, Google Analytics, Omniture etc.
- Comfortable serving as the team’s email marketing expert; advocating copy and design best practices and testing new ways to optimize campaign results.
- Proven ability and willingness to learn new data and technology systems and maximize the value they can deliver
- Proven success influencing senior management and leaders from other teams
- Track record of working with key internal partners to ensure audience and client needs are met through the email marketing channel
- Knowledge of segmentation and targeting strategies
- Think critically and be able to identify, share and implement actionable insights
- Possess effective written and verbal communication skills in reporting and presentations
- Must be self-directed, results-oriented, nimble, and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Embrace change and possess a positive attitude
- Results oriented, flexible, and willing to question the status quo and seek “outside of the box” solutions
- Ability to “find the funny” or the silver lining in stressful situations
- HCP industry experience a bonus
