Operations Coordinator
We are a fast paced, dynamic organization, searching for an Operations Coordinator who consistently exceeds expectations. This individual will report to the COO while working closely with many other departments. This position requires strong communication, acute attention to detail, time management and an individual who strives to exceed expectations in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
Partner with Operations team to manage relationships with co-packers and vendors.
Coordinate the purchasing process, which includes creating purchase orders, managing vendor production timelines, owning the PO tracker and communicating delays/issues to cross functional partners.
Act as first point of contact for all supplier inquiries and issues.
Work with product vendors and freight carriers to manage the flow of goods, ensuring timely and complete deliveries.
Manage the receiving process, which includes verifying co-packer receipt confirmation and auditing co-packer and vendor invoices.
Work closely with the inventory, product, and warehouse teams to support new product launches.
Monitor service level agreements at the co-packers ensuring in line with company goals.
Work with co-packers to improve receiving, production, and fulfillment processes.
Oversee finished product COA testing and help organize and maintain vendor quality control documents.
Develop, analyze, and report on key operations metrics.
Skills and Characteristics
Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with vendors, peers, and cross-functional partners.
Must be flexible and adaptive to changing priorities; thrive in an environment that can be quite ambiguous.
Able to make decisions with limited data, as well as ability to leverage large amounts of data when available.
Ability to identify root cause for key issues and resolve effectively without guidance.
Self-starter; ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Analytical with great attention to detail; ability to evaluate quantitative data and translate information into actionable solutions to drive positive business results.
Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization and with external business partners.
Requirements
Bachelors degree with 1-2 years of work experience.
Very proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrate logical analysis, negotiation and problem solving skills.
Work in a fast-paced, time sensitive, startup environment.
