The Sales Manager will lead sales staff in promoting and encouraging strategies to sell new and used cars effectively and profitably. Typical manager duties include organizing schedules, training, interviewing, hiring, and goal setting. The Sales Manager is also responsible for consistent and relevant communications with reoccurring customers as well as building their own sales clientele to grow the line. Customer service skills must be excellent, including the ability to easily talk to anyone. Being able to multi-task, and having strong organizational and leadership skills is a must. Candidates must be able to work and have knowledge in all aspects of the sales process and our products.

- Thorough understanding of the Sales Process with experience in Highline Luxury
- Ability to command the respect of your peers and team to drive results
- Like organization and structure so you can accomplish a high workload of tasks on a daily basis
- Used Car Background
- Follow a servant leader mentality i.e. always helping others around you achieve success
- Strong understanding of what it takes to achieve high customer satisfaction at all times
- Aspirations to grow in your career up to and beyond a General Manager
- Proficient with use of multiple platforms (CRM, DMS, MS Office suite)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in recruiting and hiring process for all positions; ensure performance reviews or coaching sessions are completed as scheduled; development of short- and long-term goals for each department manager
- Coach salespeople on best practices for closing more deals and provide advice and guidance to improve sales performance
- Set sales goals, track progress, and lead a team to achieve and exceed those quotas
- Forecast sales for upcoming months and quarters and compile the necessary reports for dealership management to review
- Manage a CRM platform to retain customers and seek out new prospective sales
- Maintain a strong focus on the satisfaction of all employees and customers
- Oversee all activities occurring in the vehicle showroom
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Sales Manager at a franchise dealership or 7 years in F & I or Floor Manager role
- Complete understanding of how to desk subprime car deals as well as prime deals
- Solid sales competencies with knowledge of strategies and best practices
- Excellent leadership skills with a passion for developing employees
- Must have strong organizational skills, and the ability to read and understand manufacture statements, F&I statements, and finical statements.
- Keen attention to detail with a commitment to solving complex problems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Outgoing, and positive attitude
- Knowledge of inventory control and management
