About the Job:The eCommerce Coordinator, Sales & Marketing Lead will play a central role in sales efforts to meet and exceed revenue targets for all channels (Amazon, Walmart, Newegg, eBay, and our own websites). The Coordinator is responsible for all Sales and Marketing activities such as understanding, creating, and executing sales strategies, partnering with cross-functional teams such as Product Managers, Purchasing, and Marketing on product launches and catalog expansions, and creating and executing channel-specific Digital Marketing strategies such as ads, coupons, and discounts to increase top-line revenue while maintaining/improving margins. They are responsible for assisting eCommerce Merchandising Operations in product and pricing research for the creation of listings, as well as assisting in data-driven reporting across all eCommerce channels.

A data-driven analytic growth mindset is critical to this role. Understanding channel-specific sales trends, customer personas, digital marketing opportunities, and building close relationships with 3P channel sales managers and account representatives are key to the success of this role.

This role requires continuous study and learning of eCommerce marketplaces, digital marketing fundamentals, and being comfortable with data operations. Gathering sales data from various platforms/sources, creating accurate reports, gathering insights, and distributing them to key stakeholders on a regular cadence is going to be a key function of this role.

This position reports to the Vice President of eCommerce.

The Ideal Candidate will:
  • 3rd Party Channel Sales (Amazon, Walmart, Newegg, eBay)
    • Learn and understand channel backend portals
    • Research and study channel-specific sales trends and create sales strategies in partnership with leadership and other cross-functional teams
    • Study and understand channel catalogs. Identify best selling categories, explore growth opportunities and work closely with Product Management/Merchandisers, and Purchasing on expansion into key categories
    • Become a channel expert in ads, promotions, and coupons
    • Build relationships with channel sales managers and account representatives and try to gain insights into channel trends, best sellers, promotional opportunities, and new features and innovations
    • Create detailed sales reporting and share insights with leadership and other teams
    • Build a sales growth mindset focused on growing top-line revenue while maintaining margins
    • Partner with Product Merchandisers and eCom Merchandising Operations on the creation of high-quality product listings
    • Track, record, and follow listing best practices across all channels
    • Study and learn marketplace rules and ensure our accounts are compliant
    • Work closely with eCommerce Merchandising Operations on catalog management
    • Explore new sales channels and strategically expand digital sales footprint
  • Website (s) Channel Data Entry
    • Learn and understand channel backend portals (Volusion and BigCommerce)
    • Research and study channel-specific sales trends (B2B vs B2C, seasonal trends) and create sales strategies in partnership with leadership and other cross-functional teams
    • Study and understand channel catalogs. Identify best selling categories, explore growth opportunities and work closely with Product Management/Merchandisers, and Purchasing on expansion into key categories
    • Work closely with Marketing on the planning, creation, and execution of annual promotions calendar
    • Partner with Product Merchandisers and eCom Merchandising Operations on the creation of high-quality product listings
    • Create detailed sales reporting and share insights with leadership and other teams
    • Assist eCom Merchandising Operations in maintaining an accurate catalog (pricing, inventory, content)
    • Proactively provide ideas for sales growth
    • Study and learn digital marketing fundamentals such as SEO, PPC, and content optimization (Google Ads, Shopping, Analytics)
  • eCommerce Channel Reporting
    • Perform data-driven reporting to support the monthly sales, advertising, and analytics reports
    • Complete quarterly business reviews for all assigned channels
    • Complete additional reporting as directed by the Marketing, eCommerce, or Leadership teams
  • Administration
    • Work closely with cross-functional project teams to coordinate activities required to achieve business development initiatives
    • Maintain current knowledge of products and services to be able to accurately complete product listings and assigned research
    • Understand our business, our products and services, unique point of difference, marketing materials, and business jargon
    • Provide support for tasks related to the Company’s CRM (Salesforce)
    • Interface internally with various departments within the Company
    • Participate in Company or departmental meetings and projects, as requested
    • Attend ongoing product and job training including seminars, workshops, conferences, etc.
    • Provide support for additional tasks, as requested
Position Accountabilities

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (degree in progress acceptable)
  • Ability and interest in learning new eCommerce platforms, technologies, and processes
  • Exposure to selling and/or marketing B2B products and services
  • Proficient in Internet search techniques
  • Outstanding organizational abilities and ability to multitask
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail

  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to exhibit accurate and detailed knowledge of the Company’s products and services
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft products, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in Google products
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with eCommerce and Third-Party Marketplace catalog management
  • Photoshop or equivalent experience
  • Reporting and Analytics experience
  • Familiarity with Project management concepts
