Fire Sprinkler System Designer/General Manager



Job Description

Ameripipe seeks an entrepreneurially minded fire protection designer and team leader to direct a fast-growing design services division. You and your team will enjoy attractive quarterly financial incentives, while never having to chase new business, worry about collections, or manage your own benefits.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of progressive fire protection system design experience spanning Commercial, Residential, Industrial, and Institutional work, as well as special hazard systems
  • Proven successful design team leadership experience, and team building expertise, with some remote team management
  • Proficiency in AutoSPRINK and AutoSPRINK Revit (preferred but training can be provided), AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Deep understanding of NFPA codes, as well as International Fire Code, Factory Mutual and local AHJ requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Track record of bidding design work, establishing proper deadlines and checkpoints, and managing a team to deliver on your promises
  • Fastidious attention to detail
  • NICET Level III in Water-Based Systems Layout preferred (but not required)
  • Applicable Engineering or Technical degree from a technical school or college preferred
  • Must be located in Southern US, with preference for Texas, Georgia or Florida (special consideration given to North Texas residents)

Compensation

Six-figure salary plus quarterly bonuses based on division earnings.
