Position: Proofreader/Copywriter

Our retail client is looking for a Proofreader/Copywriter to assist their team remotely over the next 2+ months with freelance projects.

This will be around 15-20 hours per week depending on workload, and may turn into a longer term engagement and/or possible direct-hire down the road! Must have writing samples to be considered for this role.

What you will be doing as a Proofreader/Copywriter:

• Proofreading creative work and making recommended changes and corrections
• Write copy for a variety of marketing assets (including retail signage, product packaging, emails, display ads, and outdoor)
  
  

What you need to know as a Copywriter:

• 3+ years of copywriting and/or proofreading experience in a marketing setting
• Expert knowledge of spelling, grammar and punctuation
• Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines
• Ability to think creatively and translate ideas into copy within the Brand tone and voice
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
