Security Officer (UnArmed)

AMERICAN GUARD SERVICES, INC. IS LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED UN-ARMED SECURITY OFFICERS!

SCHEDULE: Full-time & Part- time, Morning, Swing, Graveyard
LOCATION: San Jose, CA

Specific Duties and Essential Functions:

• Will need to complete Railroad Safety Training course
• Perform roving patrol s of interior and exterior building areas
• Secure entry and egress access control
• Verify visitor and building employee identification
• Have the ability to report suspicious activities and persons, write detailed narrative reports, maintain daily activity reports (DARs), enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergencies requiring security assistance.
• Monitor and respond to base building intrusion detection systems, alarms and fire detection equipment
• Dispatch and investigate related disturbances
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

All Applicants:

• Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the State of California
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
• Must possess California state issued Guard Card & Powers to Arrest Certificate
• Must have a Valid California Driver's License
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a clean background
• Must have a professional appearance
