Grading and Excavation Field Superintendent- Southern California

Grading and Excavation experience required.

We are seeking a Head Field Superintendent to become a part of our team!

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customer regarding job progress, issues, billing, etc.
• Communicate with job Superintendent and/or site engineers, public agencies.
• Conduct company operations within established budgets
• Report and correct unsafe working conditions.
• Communicate requirements, schedule, directions, etc. to all stakeholders
• Building, coaching, maintaining team of employees for field operations.

• Good documentation skills.

• Creativity and initiative.

• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.

• Proven team leader capabilities and supervision experience.

• Ability to make complex, immediate, and flexible decisions.

• Sales and negotiations experience.

• 7 years of experience with job site management of Sitework, Offsite improvements, Roads, Heavy Civil.

• Extensive knowledge of Grading, Excavation, Paving, Underground utilities, Site concrete.

• Working knowledge of Heavy Equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Working knowledge of Surveying, EDM and GPS systems.

• Proper job site attire, including safety boots, gloves, etc.
