The Position:
This Finance Leader will report to the Head of Finance for Strategy, Digital, Innovation & Digital Technology, providing Finance leadership for Digital Technology
The leader will be responsible for partnering with the CIO and CFO organizations throughout the entire enterprise. This highly visible role will have ownership and accountability for all financial management activities across Digital Technology including financial planning and analysis, reporting, workforce management, vendor management, portfolio financial management, allocations and articulating financial drivers and strategy to senior management. Strong technical abilities with knowledge of financial systems/related process workflows and the ability to simplify/analyze large data sets in order to tell the story behind the financials will be critical for this role. Additionally, this role will require leadership and the ability to influence/partner and drive transformational change to the financial environment and underlying processes across the entire Technology organization. In addition, the leader will be recognized for hiring, retaining, and developing a diverse team.

Responsibilities
- Partner with CIO's and respective CFOs of the enterprise to drive transformational change to financial processes to ensure accuracy, stability, efficiency, and transparency
- Create and present decks/presentations to senior management that clearly articulate the financial story/strategy and provide insights/recommendations on financial and headcount management activities and trends. Prepare materials that are clear, crisp and concise for senior level audiences.
- Partner across the firm to develop financial management solutions and toolsets leveraging best practices and creative thinking that allow for consistent/streamlined processes
- Support all financial processes and reporting including actuals, budget, forecast of various financial and headcount metrics and scenarios/views including general ledger, program/project, taxonomy, product, application, allocations, and business case financials
- Maintain and refine key metrics and performance indicators measuring efficiency of the Enterprise Functions Technology organization, including workforce, vendor, and infrastructure strategy
- Lead overall governance, coordination, and maintenance of Technology program portfolio and related financials/headcount
- Coordinate and oversee month-end financial close including forecasting, reporting, and analysis of financials at detailed cost center and account level
- Lead annual budgeting process including business case prioritization of technology investments and spend ensuring strict governance of deliverables and transparency of financials
- Ensure connectivity of financial data ecosystem and toolsets to optimize financial processes
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to senior management on a frequent basis
- Partner with Finance and Business Management teams across the firm to provide financial commentary and analysis regarding financial drivers and variances (i.e. actuals/forecast vs. budget)
- Liaise with various stakeholders across Technology, Finance, and COO to ensure best practices and desired results
- Identify opportunities and recommend improvements for increased process and reporting efficiencies
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness in all financial reporting and presentations
- Lead and develop a team of high performing finance professionals who serve as strategic advisors to Service Operations, Technology Services and Technology Resiliency and Disaster Recovery leaders as well as serve as guardians of the Company's finances
- Uphold and maintain a balance between risk mitigation and operational efficiency
- Ensure regulatory, data, and controls compliance for all processes/programs undertaken by business finance teams.
- Build relationships and partner closely with all Wells Fargo Technology leaders as well as partners across the Corporate Finance and Business Finance organizations
- Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
- Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
- 8+ years of Finance experience or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of Management experience
- 8+ years of Technology Finance experience
- Experience with visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau and Business Objects preferred
- Self-motivated individual to go beyond immediate responsibilities
- Demonstrated track record of successfully building organizational capability including high performing teams, process, and technology. This includes a keen focus and proven results in developing a cultural environment that achieves results through team member engagement, customer loyalty and satisfaction
- Knowledge/Skills/Ability - Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
- Knowledge/Skills/Ability - Critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration
- A demonstrated working understanding of technology and key role it plays within a Product based organization
