Darden Building Materials is currently hiring for a full-time Accounting Administrator / HR Administrator to ensure the success of our building company in the Waco, TX area. This full-time position earns a competitive experience-based salary of $60k-$75k.

DAY-TO-DAY

This full-time position typically works Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

As our Accounting Administrator / HR Administrator, we rely on your keen sense of finance and human resources operations to help ensure the success of our company. Your daily tasks include monitoring all financial data and preparing accurate and reliable financial statements. You also provide oversight and monitoring of our company budget, manage tax payments, perform internal audits and other accounting tasks. You take pride in making sure our financial transactions following all General Accepted Account Principles (GAAP) and meet our company goals.

On top of completing your roles as an accountant, you function as the point of contact for our employees and external partners as you handle HR-related issues. You maintain personnel records and effectively manage documents such as onboarding guides and employment records. You thrive in our fast-paced environment and take pride in your role that results in successful financial and HR success for our building company!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with at least 18 credit hours in accounting
  • 5 or more years of experience in operational accounting
  • Accounting and auditing principles and practices knowledge
  • Functional knowledge of laws and regulations governing fiscal recordkeeping
  • Payroll, general ledger, accounts payable, and cost accounting knowledge and understanding
  • Able to examine and verify financial documents and reports
  • Able to prepare a variety of financial statements, reports, and analyses
  • Working knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP system, Excel, and Microsoft
