Job Location:Greenville, TX Job Description: Systems Engineer with background in Signal Processing and experience in FPGA implementation. Supports research, design, development and test of Systems which perform real-time signal acquisition and processing. Supports integration of algorithms in FPGAs, and supports integration of FPGAs within Systems. Supports algorithm development and performance analysis. Proficiency in Matlab is desired, as well as proficiency in either VHDL or SystemVerilog as well as familiarity with Xilinx and QuestaSim tools. Experience with C/C++ and GPGPU/CUDA programming is beneficial. Essential Functions: Support research, design, development and test of Systems which perform real-time signal acquisition and processing. Support integration of algorithms in FPGAs, and supports integration of FPGAs within Systems. Support algorithm development and performance analysis. Qualifications: * Requires strong knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline. May have broad knowledge of project management. Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. * Significant experience in design, development, and test of real-time signal acquisition and processing. * Prior relevent experience in algorithm development for FPGAs used within Electronic Warfare Systems. * Proficiency is the use of Matlab, VHDL, or SystemVerilog, as well as Xilinx and QuestaSim tools. Preferred Additional Skills: * Aircraft Mission System Integration experience * Experience with C/C++ and GPGPU/CUDA programming is beneficial. * Proficiency in Matlab is desired, as well as proficiency in either VHDL or SystemVerilog as well as familiarity with Xilinx and QuestaSim tools. * Active Top Secret DoD Clearance, current SBI/Eligibility for SCI Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance at the Secret level which requires U.S. citizenship.
