Corporate Warehouse Manager - Fremont
The Corporate Warehouse Manager in our Fremont, CA location provides leadership for all SPSV last mile delivery operations at the station. This person will be responsible for setting high standards and goals for the delivery stations' on-road performance and ensuring that SPSV goals are achieved. We expect our managers to continually identify ways to improve our operations while engaging site and regional leadership to implement improvements in the field.
This position requires a results-oriented, high-energy, dynamic individual with the stamina and mental agility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth delivery network. Excellent communication skills with all levels of management and staff will be imperative.
* This is a salary position and is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, supervise on-road operations and driver performance
- Pilot proposed changes in the field and have the ability to work in a start-up type environment, dealing with ambiguity on a regular basis.
- Partner with senior business leaders across regional and corporate offices to analyze our existing processes and identify opportunities to improve and optimize current operations.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
- Raise the safety, quality, productivity, and capacity performance on-road via regular status checks and data review.
- Champion excellent driver and customer experience while continuously improving SPSV's last mile on road performance.
- Work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and holidays
Having delivery experience as a driver or manager with companies like UPS, FedEx, and USPS is a huge plus. However, direct last mile delivery experience is not necessary. We believe that we are one of the best delivery companies in the business because we work as a team to help each and all succeed. We recognize outstanding individuals with bonuses and rewards. Although a Bachelor's degree and/or college course work is preferred, more importantly, we strive to partner with an individual who shows an ability to grasp, maintain and execute our business model.

Requirements: Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics or previous logistics experience preferred
- Licensed for 3+ years
- At least 21 years old
- Complete a drug test, background check, and Motor Vehicle Records check
- Complete a DOT Medical Exam
- Successfully complete training through JJ Keller
