Position Description:

Designing and implementing critical customer facing solutions that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable on the Force.com platform. This person will be working in a highly Agile environment with a focus on the Salesforce Lightning technology stack.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understand Object Oriented coding standards, Design Patterns, and similar best practices
  • Understanding of UX and UI design principles to design and build efficient and intuitive user interfaces
  • Understand the principals of building managed packages for AppExchange and be familiar with the security requirements and guidelines
  • Follow modern Dev-Ops process using Git and Continuous Integration tools
  • Effectively collaborate with project team to understand the requirements, analyze them and apply new technologies to implement optimal solutions
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues in complex Salesforce applications
  • Participate in peer design and code reviews as part of the Dev-Ops process
  • Build integrations to interact with external systems based on instructions and pre-established guidelines from a Technical Architect
  • Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages and Lightning Components
  • Salesforce Lightning security and performance features
  • Apex REST and SOAP Web Services, Apex Callouts, Outbound Messaging and JavaScript Remoting
  • Force.com Workflows, Lightning Flows, and Process Builder
  • Salesforce Shield technologies including Event Monitoring, Field Audit Trail
  • Transaction Security and Platform Encryption
  • Event messaging, Streaming API and Platform Events
  • JavaScript, CSS and the established frameworks specifically jQuery, Angular/React and Bootstrap
  • Understand Force.com capabilities, governor limits, limit monitoring and best practices for limit-informed development
  • Working knowledge of Git version control and experience using GitHub or Bitbucket is required

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR 5+ years equivalent Software Engineering experience
  • 3+ years of salesforce development
  • 3+ years of salesforce middleware or integration experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a full stack engineering role
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Testing Salesforce.com solutions (APIs, SOQL, APEX, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Demand Tools, workbench, etc.)
  • Experience working with Agile/SDLC methodologies
  • Experience in the implementation of testing capabilities
  • Experience communicating, coordinating, and collaborating with business partners and technical teams
  • Experience with test estimations, test environment set-up, test strategizing, test management, and test data
  • Health Cloud experience
  • Apex development expertise
  • Lightning development expertise

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900.
