Fast-growing $50 million building products company is seeking a Vice President of Sales. The company designs, manufactures and distributes their products to both home and commercial channels through dealers and installers. They expect to double in size in the next 5 years based on current trends and investment.

The VP Sales will manage regional sales reps, marketing and the warranty department and responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in all assigned markets. They will be responsible for existing and new customer acquisition strategies, product introductions and revenue/budget planning. They will work directly with the CEO and CFO to develop and maintain budgets and performance metrics. They will direct a sales and marketing team, provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. They will establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the defined market area and contribute to the development of training and educational programs for the sales representatives and marketing personnel.

Individual must have demonstrated experience growing sales with examples of quantifiable results. Verifiable examples of growing profitable sales with an organization by double digits. Must have 5+ years as director or VP level sales leadership in building products industry. The company is also looking for experience in market analysis, strategic planning, budgeting and revenue forecasting. Experience developing and executing marketing strategies that drive sales growth. Also have excellent management and leadership skills to effectively hire, train and motivate and evaluate personnel as required. Experience with CRM tools is required. Strong negotiation skills and proven experience successfully negotiating pricing, rebates, warranty claims and sales contracts is a must.

No relocation required. Salary $120k-150k + bonus opportunity and stock ownership.
