Data & Analytics Strategy Manager

A-MAX Auto Insurance is looking for a Data & Analytics Strategy Manager to join our growing Strategy team at our corporate office located in Dallas. This is a brand-new position to oversee our Data Lab department and build a multi-year strategy for Data Architecture. This position will work with our IT and Business Leaders to establish a team and deliver on the Data Warehouse roadmap.

The Data & Analytics Strategy Manager will lead transformational projects that require an understanding of the insurance and analytics industries, while embracing innovative ideas and concepts to keep the team on the forefront.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Responsible for the data management strategy, portfolio, & roadmap as well as holding teams accountable for implementation
• 
  Establish best practice methods to plan, track and measure progress against data management objectives
• 
  Define and document the data & analytics tools, processes, metrics, and procedures to support best practices and emerging technologies/trends
• 
  Lead change management efforts that impact multiple teams of business stakeholders and promote usage/adoption
• 
  Build a data driven culture, in part by promoting ready-to-use reporting and self-service data and analytics for team members and business partners and develop tools/processes to ensure use of appropriate reporting for key business metrics
• 
  Lead ongoing communication and awareness of analytics teams impacts throughout organization

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

• 
  Bachelor’s degree required, MBA degree or consulting background preferred
• 
  5 to 7 years of experience focusing on strategy, planning, and business analysis
• 
  Experience In Insurance Industry preferred
• 
  Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and complex logistics
• 
  Experience influencing organizational changes across an organization
• 
  Experience with communicating and interacting effectively to senior-level executives and stakeholders of various disciplines
