Sr Computer User Support Specialist with a SECRET clearance

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide full-service support for desktop equipment and desktop software to include mobile device, multimedia, and collaboration service support
  • Support the desktop infrastructure comprised of 6000+ desktop/laptop computers, 1500 network printers, 750+ mobile devices, various collaboration tools and multimedia equipment supporting 14000+ users
  • Support of the Windows Environment to include patching, image creation, building collections, software packages, client health, software development
  • Support mobile technologies that include Cisco Any-Connect, MS Team, CISCO Jabber, CISCO Web-Ex, and Purebred
  • Oversee critical support for the Agency Senior Executive Service and VIP members

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or in a related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience of progressive experience in IT projects within the public sector, with at least 5 years as a Sr Computer User Support Specialist experienced in implementing and maintain platforms within the last eight years
  • Experience with technical and functional activities requiring the use of System Center/MS Intune
  • In depth understanding of risk management, customer relations, project execution, team management, and status reporting
  • Preferred certifications are Microsoft MDAA and/or MCP
  • Will have Security+ CE (or equivalent or higher security certificate)
