Position Title: Janitorial - All shifts

Wage: $15/hour

Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

Hours: 5am-1:30pm, 1pm-9:30pm, 9pm-5:30am

QPS has a Direct Hire opportunity for a labor intensive Janitorial role that will be located at a well-known automotive manufacturing company in KC. Janitorial responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform cleaning duties to ensure that the automotive manufacturing plant is entirely cleaned during its shutdown
- Use tack rags to clean walls and floors of paint ovens (ovens will not be on)
- Use vacuums to clean up loose materials
- Use brooms, mops, and rags to sweep and clean assigned areas
- Use shovel to lift pooled paint into buckets (if assigned to mucking area)

Janitorial requirements:
- Cleaning experience preferred
- Stand for entire shift
- Crouch, bend, or kneel when necessary
- Climb stairs while carrying equipment (up to 25lbs)
- Repeatedly lift up to 50lbs
- Adhere to dress code
- Rubber boots must be worn at all times when assigned to mucking area - will provide
- Full smock must be worn at all times when assigned to mucking area - will provide
- Steel toed shoes must be worn at all times

- All full time employees are eligible for a 250.00 sign on bonus after their first 90 days with perfect attendance and no disciplinary actions
- All full time employees are eligible for 750.00 perfect attendance bonus each quarter; this affects the first full quarter after they have finished their 90-day probation, must reach 480 hours of regular work (overtime and double time doesn’t count), items counted as regular hours are, regular, holidays, and vacation; this bonus is for the life of the contract (4 years
- Every shift’s 7th day is a double day
- After 90 days, employees are eligible to receive a 75.00 voucher for safety shoes and 175.00 voucher for prescription safety glasses
